Facing Winter now has a Fourth Member! Whatup, Dina!

We are pleased to announce: Dina Simone has joined Facing Winter as a vocalist, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist.
She plays saxophone, mandolin, harmonica, bass, tabla, percussion, and various other instruments. Hit her up on facebook. And scroll down for a quick video.
Dina's skills upgrade our live show with two things we've never had –
a harmonizing second vocalist and a complementary second guitarist. We're all excited about this. So far we've done two shows together (July 10 and 11), which went well.

With great happiness, we officially welcome Drew deWaard as Facing Winter's new bassist. After a few practices, it became apparent that Drew has the skills, knowledge, dedication, and passion to be a great fit in our musical family.
So who is this guy? He's 27, grew up in Bartlett, lives in Chicago, and is a student at the Keller Graduate School of Management. He's been a guitarist for 14 years, and a bassist for the last five years. He plays a sweet five-string. His number-one pet peeve is wet, muddy sandals.

Expect lots of band news coming up in November and December. There's new music on the way (single "Travelin" coming soon) and a bunch of shows in the works. And our second full-length album ("Gifts from Gravity") will be out in mid-2010.
